Custom Tablet and iPad Covers

For Christmas my awesome mom got me a tablet!  I was so excited! Alas, it did not come with a case so I scoured Amazon and found a Red, faux leather case for a whopping $7.00.  I ordered it knowing I would want to test out how the case lasered so of course I had to personalize my case. As seen below, I etched the case in 3 different locations (front, side and back) to replicate a book.

When etching the front, I adjusted my art to not sit in the crease; however, I don't believe that etching the crease would cause a problem.

On the side of the case I chose to simply put my name, mimicking a book binding.

For the back of the case I chose to throw on a lyric from one of my favorite songs, incorporating the color and my favorite band in to the etching.

As shown the etching on this case would be $40 (case not included. )

$10 design fee and $10 per location of etching. ($20 minimum for direct etching orders.)

Dave Matthews Band Sublimated Coozies

This weekend Dave Matthews Band visited Klipsch Music Center or better known as "Deer Creek" in Noblesville, Indiana.  We needed to test our our new heat press machine using the process of sublimation and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.  Why not give out free things to concert goer and work on our newest machine?  Like the below coozies we gave out for free, we can do any full color artwork on the double sided coozies.

Etched iPod

My 5 year old niece has been wanting an iPod, so instead of buying her a new one to ruin or lose her mom did the smart thing and searched facebook for people getting rid of theirs.  Low and behold, I found two at my house last week I had lost over the past 3 years.  I offered to give her an old Apple iPod mini 4GB in pink.  Then I had the brilliant idea... why not etch it for the ultimate gift?

Iron Mike Tyson and The Great Producer Kyle

Here in the office, we are big fans of a few things including: the Indiana Hoosiers, Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis sports talk radio.  Specifically you can find our pals Dan Dakich and Producer Kyle being blasted daily from 12-3 on 1070thefan.com

Recently we were asked to help create a one of a kind plaque commemorating a big event for our friend, Kyle Knezevich.  On February 13th, Kyle had the opportunity to interview Mike Tyson.  Kyle has been a Golden Gloves boxer and has long looked up to "Iron" Mike's fighting style, this interview was a huge milestone in Kyle's career.  

Special thanks to @Foolatte for her help in supplying the fabulous still photos.

Without hesitation we jumped at the opportunity to create something for our friend.  With the idea stemming to use Iron (for Iron Mike) and Steel (representing Kyle's favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers) for the frame, the creator of this gift supplied us with the base  and Ashley was given free range to do the rest.  After listening to the interview again, Ashley knew she found the quote she wanted for the back.  After looking at Kyle's pictures from his days boxing, Mike Tyson told Kyle:

Etched Axe

 Recently a customer axed us to try something we had never done before... etch a hatchet!  Of course we said we would try to develop this one of a kind gift and make it as perfect as possible.  The above is what we developed together and the recipient was absolutely in love with the finished product, his personal retirement gift!

Custom Etched Faux Leather Flask

This week we are super excited to meet with some of our vendors and show off the projects we have been working on!  Last night I came up with this faux leather stainless steel flask, I absolutely love it and I'm not the only one.  While it was etching, a customer came by and bought it before it was even finished :)

Naptown Etching

Naptown Etching grew out of a fulfillment warehouse, back in 1997. We began by offering decorating services to products housed in the warehouse for our fulfillment customers. Soon we found a niche in sourcing awards for customers as well as decorating them. Expanding our offerings from a few pages in a small catalog, we began our website service in 2004. Naptown Etching has grown steadily since it began, yet has maintained that small town, personal touch you don't find that often these days. Our current website, which you are exploring today, was born of a need to offer our clients more options and an easier way to find them.
